My career as a photographer began at age seven when my father gave me my first camera, and helped me build a dark room in a spare bathroom at our house. A native of Sonoma County, I grew up seeing life through the lens, roaming the natural landscapes photographing everything in my line of sight. I never grew jaded by the mystery of light and shadow.
My passions took me to Santa Barbara where I received my BA in Photography from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography. After graduation I moved to San Francisco and became first assistant to the award winning Karina Marie Diaz Photography. Eventually I opened my own studio and have been endlessly inspired by where my camera has taken me.
I specialize in seeing the subtitles of every moment and the candid connections between people. It is my greatest joy to savor these moments and give them a place to be remembered and cherished for generations to come.
